Terms & Conditions

The terms and conditions apply to all dealings between the client and Jordi Kate Design. Please take time to read through our Terms and Conditions thoroughly and ensure you understand them before you commence any project with us. By placing an order with Jordi Kate Design, you as a client are forming a legally binding contract for services and you agree to the following terms and conditions. 

  1. ‘Jordi Kate Design’ is Jordi Kate Millard, a sole trader. 

  2. These terms and conditions and subject to change without notification. 

  3. We are friendly and we will be open to genuine discussion if needed. 

Quotations 

  • All quotes are valid for 30 days only. 

  • All prices do not include GST (not registered for GST) 

  • All pricing is in Australian Dollars (AUD) 

  • Quotations may be subject to change if additional work is required. 

Approving Proofs/Designs/Printing 

  • Jordi Kate Design is not responsible for spelling errors or incorrect/missing information on printing that has been finalised after approval from the client. Re-printing charges will be up to the buyer/client. It is the responsibility of the client to request another copy if the proof is difficult to read or changes are required. 

  • All printing invoices are to be paid prior to ordering. 

  • Because of the nature Graphic Design projects take, once agreeing to a product/service you are responsible for the supplied and agreed-upon invoice amount. If we have not started the project yet and you cancel in time, we can discuss reimbursements as no work was started. 

Payments 

  • To secure your ‘Paint and Sip’ Workshop bookings you will receive a deposit invoice to secure your day and time of $500. $500 is equivalent to 10 adults, any booking over 10 people will be payable in a separate invoice and needs to be received before the day of your private event/booking/class. 

  • All shop items are payable upon purchase, unless personally we have arranged split invoices for larger orders/paintings. 

  • Anyone who purchases an artwork by us, Jordi Kate Design, that is a ‘made to order’ item will be expected to allow leniency for creative flare. You are purchasing a custom piece and the outcome is up to and agreed upon with Jordi Kate Design. 

  • All invoices, unless otherwise discussed are payable within 5 business days. 

  • Payments are to be made via the website or through bank deposit via our invoicing. 

  • Final design artworks will not be handed over until the invoice is paid in full. 

  • If Jordi Kate Design has finalised your order, and we cannot get in contact with you within 30 days, we will declare this project as complete. 

  • If debt collection is required for unpaid invoices or payment plans, the client is responsible for any costs incurred. 

Returns Policy 

For custom paintings, designs, illustrations etc. that is a made to order design specifically for a client, there will be no refunds. 

  • If a frame is damaged, we require photo proof upon receipt and we will assure the client gets another one at no expensive to them. 

  • If an order becomes damaged in the post, we cannot offer refunds, but we will amend. 

  • If a client changes their mind upon receipt, there won’t be a refund but please give us feedback and we will see what we can do. 

Design changes/files 

  • All branding packages specify how many rounds of design changes you will receive, outside this amount will incur additional charges at an hourly rate of $40. We are lenient. 

  • Logo packages/design files will be supplied in these formats; SVG, EPS, JPG, PNG and PDF only. 

  • If Jordi Kate Design does marketing work for you through Canva, this will be under your login information, that you supply to us. We work in Adobe Suite. 

  • You cannot make changes to our designs. 

Cancellations 

  • The client may cancel this agreement of services for any reason by providing written communication up to 10 days to Jordi Kate Design. If you paid a necessary deposit this won’t be refundable. 

  • If you must cancel your ‘Paint and Sip’ booking at last minute (within 7 days) you will be charged the full deposit of $500, due to that day now being unbookable. Unless extreme circumstances. 

  • If you have paid any invoice and the work is completed no refunds will apply. You will receive everything, and the process will be complete. 

  • If any painting is done for you specifically the invoice is to be paid in full. 

Copyright 

  • Once you have paid your design invoice you own all rights to that artwork and you may use it in any way you wish. 

  • Jordi Kate Design would like to use your work for her portfolio and owns the right to do so mentioning your business with the designs showcased. However, we will ask for permission to make sure we aren’t announcing your business before you do. We will also not ruin any surprises/gifts/bookings etc. 

  • All designs and imagery you find on our website or socials, are owned by Jordi Kate Design and copyright laws will apply if used without permission from Jordi Kate Design.
